Pennsylvania

The Allegheny National Forest & Kinzua

Part of the Allegheny Plateau, which Pennsylvania shares with Maryland, New York and West Virginia, where it goes on as Deep Creek Lake & the western mountains, Chautauqua, Allegany & the western hills and Morgantown, Coopers Rock & Mountaineer Country.

Kinzua and the Allegheny forest connect the wooded northwestern plateau.

Maple, oak, hickory, birch and beech colour the ridges, gorges and wooded river slopes.
