The Indiana Dunes & Calumet shore
Part of the Lake Michigan Shore, which Indiana shares with Illinois and Michigan, where it goes on as Chicago & the lakefront, the West Michigan lakeshore and the southwest Fruit Belt.
Lake Michigan’s dunes and the Calumet’s wetlands make a narrow coastal landscape of their own.
Oak turns russet on the dunes while maple and cottonwood colour sheltered woods.
As of , no photograph from this autumn has come from the Indiana Dunes & Calumet shore, and no place, camera or drive of this site is in it yet.
