Part of Lookout Mountain, which Tennessee shares with Alabama, where it goes on as Little River Canyon & Lookout Mountain.
The Ocoee gorge cuts toward the Cherokee National Forest east of Chattanooga’s mountain rim.
Oak, hickory, sourwood and maple color the ridges and river gorges.
