Pennsylvania

Raystown Lake & the Juniata

Part of the Ridge and Valley, which Pennsylvania shares with Georgia, where it goes on as Rome, Cartersville & the Coosa Valley.

Raystown and the southern Juniata occupy the folded ridges east of the Allegheny Front.

The folded ridges around Raystown carry oak and hickory, with maples near the Juniata and its tributaries; the oaks often keep colour after the maples are bare.

As of , no photograph from this autumn has come from Raystown Lake & the Juniata, and no place, camera or drive of this site is in it yet.
