The Triad: Greensboro, Winston-Salem & the Sauratowns
The Triad’s northern Piedmont reaches the Sauratown ridges and Yadkin valley.
Maple and hickory color the Sauratown slopes before many trees in the lower Yadkin valley, and oaks usually extend the Piedmont’s color later into autumn.
