The Current River & Ozark springs

Part of the Ozarks, which Missouri shares with Arkansas and Oklahoma, where it goes on as Fayetteville, Bentonville & the northwest hills, Eureka Springs & the Kings River and the Buffalo River & Boston Mountains, and in four more parts of Arkansas and Oklahoma.

The Current, Jacks Fork and great springs make southeast Missouri’s river Ozarks a country of their own.

Oak and hickory colour the ridges, with maple, dogwood and sycamore near springs.
