Iowa
The Iowa Quad Cities & lower Mississippi
Part of the Upper Mississippi Valley, which Iowa shares with Illinois and Missouri, where it goes on as the Quad Cities & upper Mississippi, Quincy & the western river country and Hannibal & Mark Twain Lake.
Mississippi bluffs and islands line Davenport’s riverfront and the neighboring towns.
Cottonwood and maple color the islands, with oak on the bluffs.
